Laila visits her friend, the doctor.

Laila got her shots but didn't seem to mind too much due to the immense quantities of paper provided for her to play with. Luckily, she didn't eat any this time! :)

She weighs 17 lbs 15 oz and is 26.5 inches long! You go, baby!

Unfortunately, she has her 4th ear infection in as many months. But more on that later. :(

A much overdue update!

Sorry that we have been absentee for the past few weeks! We were recovering from all the travel and sicknesses that happened around the holidays.

Laila is doing great! She is getting so unbelievably big! She sits up on her own now and only occansionally topples over. She is very interested in her toys and loves anything the makes noise or has lights.

Tomorrow I have the day off for MLK day! My mom is coming over to spend the day with us and we are going to have a dinner of prime rib tomorrow night! I am excited for that! What a treat.

Steve is doing well. Mostly working, going to the gym and taking care of his girls! He gets away once in a while for a Gophers game or just to watch some sports.

We will post some pictures soon...tomorrow if I remember!

Here we come, Texas!!!!

By this time tomorrow, we will be arriving at Grandma and Grandpa Janish's house in Texas! We are all very excited! We discovered today that Laila has a double ear infection but her Dr. said she is still ok to fly. She is still in good spirits- laughing and playing. Flying with an infant is never easy...let alone one that isn't feeling 100%. But we will all make the best of it and try to remember that the outcome will be great!
